Nederlandse School Wenen – De Prater
“Dutch School Vienna” (Nederlandse School Wenen), an association that organizes language and culture education for Dutch & Flemish-speaking children.

NTC Vienna had existed for 20 years and it was time for some celebration (and redesign!). Children were asked to find a nice name for their school, and after voting, the name “de Prater” has been chosen.
There are two meanings to the word: Prater is a ferris wheel in Vienna, one of the city's iconic landmarks. Also in Dutch “de prater” means “someone talking”, which is a nice reference to school and education, and the ability to express yourself well in Dutch. We combined the two concepts in a simple, yet well thought out logo.
